Extension

The Extension Program agenda covering both capacity building and technical assistance services and international linkages and partnerships by the College of Architecture aims to contribute to the professional development of Filipino Architects, Landscape Architects, Interior Designers, Environmental Planners, and other built environment professionals in the private sector, government, and civil society. It also gears at the development of a sustainable designed and built environment in the country.

TRAININGS, LECTURES, AND SEMINARS

The UP College of Architecture is accredited as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Provider under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). In support of professional development, the college through its Studio Laboratories (SLs) and the Office of the Extension Program (OEP) organized a series of seminars and workshops accredited with CPD points.

Undergraduate, graduate students, faculty, and staff of the college can attend the seminars/workshops for free. Professionals outside of the college are also welcome to attend but with a prescribed fee.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

OEP provides of research-based services, socially and environmentally responsive project assistance, and expertise in architecture, landscape architecture, and related fields in the design and built environment. Technical and development assistance are also provided internally to UPCA faculty, REPS, and staff in the form of continuing professional development and technical development services through the studio laboratories.
