Sulong Dunong Module 3: “Kuwarta at Kuwenta” to Promote Financial Literacy Among Students
The Office of Counseling and Guidance (OCG), in collaboration with the School of Statistics, invites students from the Science and Technology Cluster to participate in Sulong Dunong: A Guide to Navigating College Experiences – Module 3: “Kuwarta at Kuwenta: Leading to Financial Literacy.”

The activity will be held on November 9, 2026 (Monday), from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at Room 302, School of Statistics (SS). It is intended for new first-year and sophomore students, providing an opportunity to strengthen their financial awareness as they navigate their college journey.

Through this initiative, students are encouraged to develop a better understanding of financial literacy and the importance of making informed financial decisions. Building practical financial knowledge can help students become more mindful of their spending, recognize the value of budgeting, and develop responsible money-management habits that support their academic and personal goals.

Interested students are encouraged to register using their UP email address by scanning the QR code provided in the event poster. Slots are limited, so early registration is highly encouraged.
