Application for shifting out status should be done before the start of registration period.
Step-by-step Procedure in Shifting Out:
- Fill-in a Shifting Out Status application form.
- Contact your registration adviser, consult them before the registration period, and ask for their endorsement by signing the Shifting Out Status Application form in #1.
- After your adviser’s consultation, submit the following to UPCA Student Concerns Team through email with the following attachments:
- A letter addressed to the dean indicating your intent and reason for shifting
- Accomplished and signed shifting out status form—this is prepared by the student and signed by the student’s registration adviser
- Wait for the reply as confirmation of the beginning of your shifting out status. This prompts the college to start counting the current semester as the first semester of the two semesters that you should be in shifting out status.
