Master of Tropical Landscape Architecture (MTLA)

Admission to the Master of Tropical Landscape Architecture (MTLA) program is reserved for individuals holding a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) degree or its academic equivalent, as well as for those who have successfully completed the Graduate Diploma in Landscape Studies (GDipLS).

In an era shaped by increasing global interconnectedness and evolving environmental, technological, and societal conditions, the MTLA program serves as a critical academic forum where practitioners, educators, and researchers engage with pressing questions concerning sustainability and quality of life. The program emphasizes the need to reconsider and redefine the role of landscape architecture in response to contemporary global challenges and emerging knowledge systems.
