What is REx Talks?REx Talks are short lectures, offered to the general public. Topics covered mostly are related to the designed and built environment, while issues discussed are diverse - ranging from very specific topics such as effective waterproofing of buildings, perceptions of color in the landscape and determining the energy-efficiency of the building envelope; to more complex and large-scale issues such as landscape sustainability, integrated risk reduction and urban housing for the marginalized sectors.
REx Talks are officially initiated and organized by UPCA through the Extension Program, with the assistance of the Research Program and the Studio Laboratories, and has featured top local and international Architects, Landscape Architects, Planners, Researchers and Academics. |
