The Landscape Architecture, Architecture, and Interior Design community at UP Diliman paved way for the successful design and allied arts exposition last December 7, 2012.
The exposition was an annual event spearheaded by the UPCA’s Landscape Architecture program, the UP Circle of Landscape Architecture Students (UPCLAS) and the Philippine Association of Landscape Architects (PALA). This school year, it eventually grew to include professionals and students of the allied arts: for Interior Design - Design Core and Philippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID), for Architecture - UAP Tandang Sora and UAPSA-UPD, to showcase their works and innovative solutions to challenges of the built and natural environment.
For this school year, the exposition had the following goals:

We are very pleased to report that the UP College of Architecture's amphitheater is nearing completion! The amphitheater will be an added landmark to the the existing UPCA Complex. The UP College of Architecture Alumni Foundation Incorporated (UP CAAFI) is actively seeking support to fund the College's activities, equipment, and facilities. As a means of support to the College, they have launched "UPo sa ARKI: Arki Ampitheater Commemorative Seats." The seats are made from special customized fire-baked tiles manufactured piece-by-piece by Mariwasa.
UPCA has requested assistance from the prominent Professors and Artists of the UP College of Fine Arts. Among those who submitted studies were Dean Leonardo Rosete, former Dean Neil Doloricon, Prof. Conrad Virinia, Prof. Joy Ilagan, Prof. Jose Manuel Sicat and Prof. Rita Gudiño. The studies were then given life in actual tiles by Prof. Jose Manuel Ilagan, Prof. Rita Gudiño , and Elise Mendoza of the UP Architecture Student Council.
A regular seat tile is worth PhP12k, while an aisle seat tile is worth PhP15k. For inquiries, please e-mail: email@example.com or contact Ms. Beth Mamansag or Arch. Edwin Gumila at telephone number: 63.2.910-5141 to 43.
